OK, well now I feel guilty for my vote! Mission accomplished, Rabin!

It is interesting to see how "A Haunting in Venice" was cast, compared to Branagh's previous all-star Poirot outings. Nothing will ever top the 1970s "Murder on the Orient Express" in terms of colossal casts, but Branagh's own version definitely had some big names. His "Death on the Nile" aimed a little lower in terms of star power, and now with his latest, he seemed to say "Get me Michelle Yeoh, and...eh, whoever else picks up the phone." Maybe he was tired of casting people who got into various forms of trouble in their personal lives.

I imagine that most of us paid subscribers are fine with letting you choose a movie, especially if one choice makes your writing and book work easier. I'm totally okay with you reviewing the next Nicolas Cage movie over, say Marvel entry #275 (or this film). What do other people think?

I voted for this one because I hoped it would turn out to be a very solid movie and that Nathan would wind up being pleasantly surprised. I did not predict would happen, I merely hoped it would. And it did not. And that's why we now have Nathan telling us which movie we should vote for. This is the future we all deserve.

Also I figured the latest Expendables movie was really bad, not "so bad it's good", just plain BAD. [I still believe this].

SOMEDAY I'm going to be part of a mob that "forces" Nathan to go see a movie that he didn't think he would love, but that he winds up enjoying. A movie that work especially well as an experience shared in a movie theater with a modestly large [BUT NOT TOO LARGE] group of strangers. Someday.

::Branagh decided that prancing around in tights and spouting iambic pentameter was all well and good but that he had to get paid. ::

Well, maintaining a Knighthood isn't cheap—for one thing, all the local shopkeepers raise their prices if you're a "Sir" or a "Lord"! For another, he showed shockingly poor taste in cheating on Emma Thompson with Helena Bonham Carter, and I suspect he's still paying for that one....

And for a third? Shakespeare makes a lot less money than Agatha Christie, Tom Clancy, or the MCU does.

I voted for Expend4bles, not sure what’s wrong with these other weirdos.

If Michelle Yeoh wants to show up in the next EXPENDABLES movie, I'll vote for that instead!

...Now that I think on it, that sounds like a MARVELOUS idea. Stallone and the other older dudes can take a backseat to Yeoh, Megan Fox, Cynthia Rothrock, and Gal Gadot, and Jason Statham can be the token boy-toy in the girl's club as they kick ass in some ridiculously incredible way.

I hope you people who voted for the mustache are happy. This is not the review the rest of us wanted to see. This isn't the review anyone wanted to read, or probably write, for that matter. I think Expend4bles needs to be on the ballot again this Friday.

I have no interest in Paw Patrol unfortunately, but would still like to see you chew up and spit out Expendables. I certainly have no intention to see it, but you owe me for recommending Crank 2 Yes I Am Still Mad About That.
