Hi Nathan! Great article, but Jack Kamen didn't create the poster. That was horror great Joann Daley! Check out this fantastic article about her and her contribution to horror film: https://cameraviscera.com/2016/03/16/artists-behind-the-image-joann-daley/

What I loved most about "A Little Something to Tide You Over" was that, after the drowned lovers return, they keep repeating "We just want to know how long you can hold your breath", which Nielsen taunted Danson with before leaving him to die—and the final shot in the episode is Nielsen, buried up to his neck in sand as the tide comes in, ranting "I CAN HOLD MY BREATH FOR A LONG TIME! A REALLY LONG TIME!"

For years, I had only seen the TV Cut of Creepshow which completely removes the final segment with EG Marshall. Which is a travesty, imo.

80s classic! There's a gleefulness in this movie that's hard to pinpoint, but it makes it fun to watch. We ran the sequel in the theater where I worked in my high school days. Not nearly as polished, but it's hard to hate all the same. The third movie though, oof - I made it through two of the stories before shutting it off, just out of sheer boredom. Even Savini refers to Tales from the Darkside as the true third film and it's pretty solid with a fun cast.

"Ted Danson, in his second film role after 1981’s Body Heat" - you're forgetting The Onion Field, which is excellent and too often forgotten!

With the exception of Stephen King's high cholesterol hambone "performance", this movie is awesome. Dark, gory, scary, grim, and UGH the roaches in the last story....

Love it. The sequel was nowhere near as good.
