“ Mr. Harrigan’s Phone captures the pulse-pounding excitement of an old man sitting in a chair.” —Ha ha ha!

You mentioned you forgot it, but would still like your thoughts on Children of the Corn. Growing up, I had the poster of CoC II: Urban Harvest hanging in my room—not because I liked the film (or the poster), but because I got it for free at the theater. What a franchise!

This is ironic because just last night I watched a film called "Measure of a Man" which stars Donald Sutherland as a rich old crank, who hires a young boy to work for him. When I read the synopsis before watching it, I wondered if this is the one where there's a phone involved (aping "Death Note" - which came first?). Turns out I was wrong, obviously. It was a 1976-set movie that was a pleasant coming of age drama, but pretty forgettable.
