The first two Conjuring movies are watchable enough, basically funhouse thrill rides with predictable yet effective jump scares. Annabelle: Creation is probably the best entry in this particular cinematic universe, or at least the only one I enjoy revisiting. Like Ouija: Origin Of Evil, it’s a prequel to a bland and largely forgettable first entry that it improves upon in every way possible.
I think the first Conjuring movie was very good. I don't believe it was a true story, or that the Warrens are legit of course, but The Conjuring is very scary and well-made. The rest are probably skippable, although I did like (not love) some of them. La Llorona and the Conjuring II were alright. But I would recommend the first one.
