In a different, better world, Tales From the Crypt would have made a big splash in feature films with the one-two-three punch of Demon Knight, The Frighteners, and From Dusk Til Dawn. I’ve also heard that Robert Zemeckis’ Death Becomes Her was bandied about as a potential Tales From the Crypt movie, which makes sense given its ghoulish subject matter and director.
