Metallica is totally in anger with you!

I respect what Metallica does, and appreciate that they are very talented musicians but their music has never been my cup of tea. Incidentally, I very briefly took guitar lessons as a high school graduation present from my dad and all that I remember about the experience is that my seventy-something teacher told me that from a technical perspective, Metallica was very accomplished.
