I recently had the surreal experience of watching Robert Zemeckis’ 1978 debut I Wanna Hold Your Hand on the big screen on the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show with Eddie Deezen in attendance. The iconic geek, voiceover artist and character actor’s reputation has taken a big hit in the last few years due to some very poor choices he has made in his personal life. I’m pleased to report that he’s much more appealing in person than he is on social media.
