I just wanted to take some time on this momentous of days to thank y’all for subscribing to this newsletter. This has been a difficult year. Who am I kidding? It’s been a tough decade, but Nathan Rabin’s Bad Ideas has been a bright spot in an often dark and depressing annum.
Unless I have a very bad December, I will end my Substack year in a much better place than I began. That cannot be said of any other facet of my career, and I have y’all to thank for it.
I am particularly grateful to subscribers who recommend this site to their audience. It’s a matter of clicking a button a few times, and it makes a huge difference. I can’t even say how many subscribers I acquired from the School of Trivia recommendation.
I’m proud of the work I’ve done here. I’ve been consistent and timely in my posting, which has long been a struggle. I also got to see a lot of movies in the theater with my son, which was wonderful.
So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me and my precarious livelihood during a particularly scary and fraught time in American politics and pop culture.
2024 was a good year for Nathan Rabin’s Bad Ideas. I’m doing everything I can to ensure that next year will be even better.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and appreciate all you do here. Been a fan of your writing for a long time! :)
