Garbage Day is coming! Announcing the Silent Night, Deadly Night Project!
In a real change of pace, I am going to immerse myself in fascinatingly terrible schlock!
Hey you beautiful people!
As my big December project I am watching and writing about all of the films in the Silent Night, Deadly Night series.
It seems like the perfect way to celebrate Christmas! I’ve already watched all five films in the original series—Silent Night, Deadly Night, Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2, Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out, Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: The Initiation and Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: The Initiation and Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy-Maker.
They’re nuts! And a lot of fun to write about and also read.
All that’s left is the 2012 reboot with Malcolm McDowell and Donal Logue.
The series starts tomorrow for paid subscribers and then each piece will go public a week after paid subscribers get a sneak peek. It’s my way of saying, “Please become a paid subscriber. It’s totally worth 5 dollars a month”
This is gonna be bloody good fun! It’s cyber-Monday so why not upgrade to a paid subscription? It’s the nice thing to do whereas deleting a paid subscription is VERY naughty and Killer Kris Kringles of the Silent Night franchise take a VERY dim view of naughtiness.
My favorite movies are the ones I can watch with friends, and for the last several years that has mostly meant "all of the entries in horror franchises". Ideal for watching while my friend is synced up to the same film while we are connected to PlayStation chat.
And so this is a perfect choice for me. There is no cheap box set collection for this franchise, otherwise I would have bought it and watched them all long ago. I had already figured that this would be the year to find a way to watch this series during the Christmas season.
Haha hahahahaha
