Congratulations to me!

Just passed two milestones!

Hey you beautiful people,

I just wanted to share the good news that I just passed a pair of milestones here at Nathan Rabin’s Bad Ideas. I officially have more one thousand free subscribers and am making more than ten thousand dollars in annual income from my newsletter.

That makes me very happy because honestly all I want is growth. It doesn’t matter how modest; I just want tomorrow to be better than today or at least not much worse.

So please do consider becoming a paid subscriber. I’m not going to lie; if you are a free subscriber it is very much my goal to make you a paid subscriber. I feel guilty and ashamed about just about everything in this sick, sad, beautiful world beyond five dollars being a very reasonable amount for a monthly subscription to a newsletter that requires a bit of time, work and effort.

It’s all about progress, not perfection so I very much intend to win y’all over because the more money I take in here, the more time and energy I can devote to my Bad Ideas. I’m very happy with where we’ve been and where we’re going.

I think of Nathan Rabin’s Bad Ideas as both a sister site for Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place as well as a new beginning, a chance to start out fresh without some of the bad habits that have dogged me as a writer.
